ASJ Middle School provides for girls
and boys in grades 6-7-8 an intermediate level of study before high school.
Guided by the CSJ Mission Statement, the students develop a sense of
tolerance, acceptance and respect for themselves and each other.
Caring faculty challenge students in subject classes scheduled in collaboration with
the secondary division. Class meetings, field trips, ceremonies and
celebrations foster a sense of community.
Highly qualified religious and lay faculty design curriculum in varied areas of study including religion,
English, Math, Social Studies, Foreign Language (French or Spanish), Science, Physical Education, Music,
Art, Computer and Guidance. There is opportunity for students in grade
eight to
accelerate in math and
science courses with ninth graders. An Electronic Doorway Library allows Internet access for research and communications,
a computer lab equipped for classes and a spacious reading room which houses a book and periodical collection.
